WATERFORD, CT (WFSB) -
Two men are being sought by police for stealing a number of items, including electronics they had employees remove from locked displays, from a big box store in Waterford.
According to police, a man wearing a batman hat, a gray hooded sweatshirt, glasses and khaki pants entered the Walmart on Sunday around 5:45 a.m. and asked associates to open an electronics case so he could look at the items.
Police said the man then got in line as if he was going to pay for them.
However, he ran out of the store without paying.
He fled in a white vehicle that was driven by the second suspect.
Police released surveillance photos of the vehicle and the two suspects on Monday.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Waterford Police Department at 860-442-9451.
