Connecticut State Police arrested a teen who they said fled the state after shooting a man in Winsted earlier this year.
Police in Maine found 19-year-old Rafael Santiago-Salazar of Waterbury and sent him back to Connecticut on Wednesday.
Investigators say Santiago-Salazar shot 37-year-old Melvin Ashe on Rock Street in Winsted in January.
The teen faces a number of charges, including attempted murder.
