Amtrak service between Boston and New Haven has been suspended.
The rail service posted to Twitter that it's because of power outages from downed trees.
It promised to post updates as it works to restore service.

Metro-North service in Danbury was also suspended because of a mudslide in the area.
There were no reports of injuries.
