A water main break is expected to affect several multi-family homes in Bristol.
The Bristol Water Department said on Tuesday morning that it is working on emergency repairs in the Robertson Street area.
It said it was not sure how long repairs would take.
Water service had to be shut off throughout the day.
The department said customers on Robertson Street and the surrounding area may experience lower than normal pressure, discolored water or no water at all.
Crews will remain on scene until service is completely restored.
Once that happens, discolored water may be noticed.
Officials recommended running the cold water in a bathtub until it looks clear.
They said avoid doing laundry until the water returns to normal.
