Another home run for Dunkin’ Donuts Park.
The AA stadium has been named best ballpark for the second straight year.
Fans are the ones who decide how they stadiums were rated through Ballpark Digest.
Hartford's Dunkin’ Donuts Park has only been open for two seasons and they're off to a pretty good start with fans.
"I just like baseball. I like baseball and this it's in Hartford, around here you catch a bus here, catch a bus back,” said Jason Costa of East Windsor.
The stadium has been chosen as the best AA ballpark in America two years in a row.
It’s the first time a minor league ballpark has won this award for consecutive seasons.
"It's a nice feather in the cap, shows us how much the Yard Goats fans really enjoy the Dunkin’ Donuts Park and coming out to games,” said Tim Restall, Yard Goats General Manager.
Restall couldn’t be happier.
Food stands at the park are definitely a factor, as well as team merchandise.
The store sells a lot of hats and shirts.
Getting to this point wasn't easy. Construction of the stadium took years in delays, cost overruns and eventually the contractor was fired.
That seems to be behind them now.
Meghan champagne and her son Sam are fans.
"Very clean, it's very affordable, it’s a great place for families. We have fun here,” said Champagne.
There are 70 home games and there's plenty of time to catch the action.
The last game is August 30th.
