Emergency Work Closes I-84 Lanes

HARTFORD, Conn. -- Emergency roadwork led to the closure of two eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 in Hartford on Monday.The right and center lanes were closed before 11 a.m.State police said crews were working to repair a large pot hole in the roadway.Police said that traffic was backed up for two miles because of the roadwork.Department of Transportation officials estimated that one to two hours were needed to clear the roadway.
