WALLINGFORD, Conn. -- A jackknifed tractor-trailer created delays on Interstate 91 during Wednesday's morning rush.

Several southbound lanes of the roadway were closed just before 5 a.m. because of the truck, police said.

Officials said the truck had blocked southbound lanes at exit 13 in Wallingford.

Police said only one lane of traffic was able to get around the truck. They said the truck was cleared from the roadway by 9:30 a.m.
