WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. -- Embraer, a Brazilian manufacturer of executive jets, is set to open a new $10 million Northeast service center at Bradley International Airport. The facility, which is nearly 48,000 square feet, is near the New England Air Museum. It will open after an inaugural ceremony Thursday featuring officials from the state, airport and company. Officials from Embraer and Bradley said more than 60 new jobs will be created at the center to service the company's new line of Phenom and Legacy executive jets. Embraer is based in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil, and has more than 23,000 employees worldwide. It was founded in 1969 as a government initiative, then privatized in December 1994.
