Wethersfield To Offer Tornado Discussion
Town Says Residents Reporting Anxiety

WETHERSFIELD, Conn. -- The town of Wethersfield will hold a family discussion in response to the recent tornado in the town.The discussion will be held by the Department of Social and Youth Services to help families deal with anxiety and stress caused by the tornado.Town officials said residents have reported feeling anxious when it thunders or when stormy weather is predicted. They said some Wethersfield children have been experiencing anxiety related to damage in the town.The discussion is meant for resident to discuss the tornado and how to recover from it.The discussion will be held at the Pitkin Community Center Fireside Room at 6 p.m. Thursday.
