WFSB-TV3, the Meredith-owned CBS affiliate in Hartford, Conn., needs a motivated, professional storyteller for our creative news operation.

We are looking for someone who loves to meet people and tell their stories. Successful candidates will have a positive attitude, a willingness to contribute story ideas and a desire to be part of the community.

We have a staff of photojournalists who are expected to contribute as much to each story as the reporter and have the ability to work alone when necessary. Hours are flexible and not guaranteed.

Degree in communications/journalism preferred; minimum two years prior photography/editor experience and knowledge of contemporary photojournalism required; knowledge of contemporary photojournalism.

Minimum one-year shooting experience. Work with all aspects of ENG photography, linear and non-linear videotape editing and DVCPro cameras. Live truck experience is a real plus. Must have a valid Driver’s License with excellent driving history.
