Report and present news in an interesting, informative and appealing fashion from both the newsroom and from the field. Write stories clearly, intelligently and effectively. Develop sources and resources for news stories and features. Be aware of news developments in the region. Represent station at community events.

Candidate must be an active story-teller with strong writing skills, clear and quick understanding of story focus and viewer benefits. Must be entrepreneurial and know how to dig for stories. Organization a key and must be able to meet multiple deadlines. Live skills are imperative: must be able to communicate clearly and urgently to the viewer. Candidate must have active and clear delivery for television.

College degree in communications/journalism preferred. Minimum three years' experience as a television reporter.

A valid driver's license and a safe driving history are also required.
