Police investigate homicide in Hartford
HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - Hartford Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened on Bellevue Street on Friday.
Police were called to 302 Bellevue on a ShotSpotter activation around 9:13 pm.
Officials say they found evidence of gunfire, as well as a victim on the scene. Reports say the victim was found in a car that had crashed into a parked car near the intersection of Sanford Street.
Officials say the victim was unresponsive, and was transported to a local hospital.
Police say the man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The man was later identified as 25-year-old Jordan Maddox.
