Meet Biscuits and Gravy, the two-faced kitten born in Oregon

The internet can't get enough of this adorable kitten born with two faces.

(Meredith) - A rare two-faced kitten named Biscuits and Gravy is melting hearts across the country.

Kyla King said her cat gave birth to a litter of kittens around 5 a.m. Wednesday in her backyard in Albany, Oregon -- but one was much different from all the others.

The tiny feline had two noses, four eyes, and two mouths.

“I came back out and looked again, and I was like, ‘Ah!’” King told the Albany Democrat-Herald.

She and her family named the cat Biscuits and Gravy, or just Biscuit for short.

Though cats with two faces are rare, they are not unheard of. They are known as “Janus” cats, named after the Roman god who was often depicted with two faces in mythology.

Janus cats have a rare birth defect called disprosopus, or cranial duplication, and most don't live longer than a few days, CBS News reports. They also have no identifiable sex.

The oldest-ever Janus cat in the world lived for 15 years until it died in 2014 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Its name was Frank and Louie.

As for Biscuits, the King family remains hopeful.

The kitten's head is too large to be fully supported by its body. But if it's able to survive, King wants to keep it and raise it.

She plans on giving away Biscuit's five siblings once they're big enough.
