Arrest made in pawn shop armed robbery

A suspect in the armed robbery of a pawn shop in Norwalk was in police custody in North Carolina on Thursday.

Police said 28-year-old, Hartford resident Donald Outlaw was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Fugitive Task Force in High Point, NC on Thursday.

Outlaw was accused of an armed robbery at the Gold Rush Pawn Shop, which is located at 495 Connecticut Ave., on Sept. 9. Police said they determined that Outlaw and another person were involved in the incident.

Outlaw has to be extradited back to Connecticut where he will face charges of first-degree robbery, first-degree larceny and conspiracy. He has a $250,000 bond.
