Bristol man killed in motorcycle crash Sunday morning

Bristol police said one person was killed after a motorcycle collided with a car on Route 6 Sunday morning. (WFSB)

A 34-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 6 in Bristol Sunday morning.

Police said Corey Cuvelier died from his injuries after a car collided with his motorcycle around 7 a.m. at the corner of Farmington Avenue and King Street.

Cuvelier was traveling east on Farmington Avenue, and the car was traveling west when it turned left onto King Street, colliding with the motorcycle.

The driver of the car was identified as 20-year-old Crystaly Acevedo, of Southington. She was not injured.

Route 6 westbound was closed near the intersection of King Street.

Police were diverting traffic onto Farmington Avenue on Sunday morning

LIFESTAR was called to the scene but did not transport the victim.
