Bristol police locate parents of child found wandering

A 3-year-old child was found wandering in Bristol on Wednesday night (WFSB)

Bristol police notified residents on Wednesday night that a 3-year-old child was found wandering alone.

An alert was sent out to people in Bristol at about 7:30 p.m., as police were searching for the child's parents.

At about 8:30 p.m., police said the child's parents were located.

Police said the child was found wandering in the area of Willis Street and Buckingham Street. The child somehow found a way out of the house and was found by another person who called police.

The child was not injured.
