A man was grazed in the head after he claimed the vehicle he was in was sprayed by bullets.

Police said it happened near the intersection of Prospect Street and Munchausen Avenue in Bristol just before 8 p.m. on Monday.

They said it originally was reported as a "shots fired" incident.

The victim was found at a home on Munchausen Avenue.

He told police that he was a passenger in a vehicle that was headed northbound on that street when several shots were fired from another vehicle heading westbound on Prospect Street.

The victim was grazed on the left side of his head, according to police.

The driver was not hurt.

Police said the victim was treated at the scene, but transported to Bristol Hospital for more treatment.

They said they're still looking for a suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Bristol police at 860-584-3011.
