Six cars were struck by pellets from a BB gun in Clinton on Sunday, according to police.

Police said the cars were in different parking lots when they were hit, including Shop Rite, Stop & Shop and Clinton Crossings throughout Clinton during the early evening hours. Police said the windows of the vehicles were shot out with a BB gun.

"Obviously you see that and you panic and you still wonder if it's going on around, and I have little kids, so it's definitely upsetting," said Whitney Kamradt, of Madison.
