CDC says don't cuddle with your kittens

They are so cute, and almost irresistible, but cat owners are being told they shouldn’t kiss or cuddle with their kittens.

The Centers for Disease Control said cats carry a rare bacteria in their mouths and claws that can lead to chronic infections in humans.

According to a report recently released, about 12,000 Americans die each year to what is now referred to as Cat-Scratch Disease.

It’s said to cause fever, fatigue, and swollen lymph nodes, and in some rare cases, brain swelling.

Experts said cases are most common in the south and least common in dry climates.
