Crystal Ouellette is soon-to-be mom, who will be raising her baby boy in the Plainville home she grew up in.

Crystal's mother, Linda Ouellette, contacted the Liberty Bank Surprise Squad in the hopes that we could do something for her daughter. Crystal Ouellette is not only expecting in a few days, but trying to renovate her turn-of-the-century house.

“I knew what this place looked like,” Linda Ouellette said. "And now I'm sleeping better because you guys are helping."

Crystal Ouellette began work on her house, not knowing how much of a financial undertaking it would be for her. Once she found out she was pregnant, the baby's room became the main focus.

“That's where everything has really been going now,” Crystal Ouellette said. “That's why everything like the walls, the floor have kind of been put on hold.”

Crystal Ouellette told the Liberty Bank Surprise Squad she has some friends that are willing to do the work for her. Crystal Ouellette said she just can't afford the materials right now, which is why the Liberty Bank Surprise Squad wanted to contribute in some way to her and her son's new beginnings.

The Liberty Bank Surprise Squad gave Crystal Ouellette money towards the renovations.
