CT police rescue driver trapped in burning car

Officers from the Wilton Police Department were able to rescue driver who was trapped inside a burning car last week.

The department released on-board camera of the car fire that took place around 8:40 p.m. on Nov. 23. Upon arrival, officers located a 26-year-old driver trapped in the car. The officers worked quickly and were able to pull the driver out of the vehicle.

The fire department was able to knock down the fire a short time later.
