Danbury man facing sex assault charges

A Danbury man is facing sex assault charges following an investigation into a summer incident.

Galo Alvarez, 33, was charged with first-degree sex assault, risk of injury to or impairing morals, and three counts of delivery of alcohol to minors.

The arrest stems from an investigation into an incident that happened on June 5 at the Howard Johnson Motel in Bethel.

He was held on a $100,000 bond.
