Hartford police investigating Sunday morning shooting

Hartford police are investigating a Sunday morning shooting (WFSB)

Police in Hartford are investigating a shooting that happened on Sunday morning.

A little before noon, a man was found lying on the sidewalk at the corner of Blue Hills Avenue at West Euclid Street with an apparent gunshot wound to his lower left leg.

The suspected shooter fled the scene on a moped, and Bloomfield and Windsor police were able to catch him, and his passenger.

The victim was taken to St. Francis Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The two individuals caught have not been identified.
