Motorcyclist killed in New Britain crash identified by police

New Britain police are investigating a shooting that has left one man dead.

Police said they were called to the area of 450 South Main Street just before 5 a.m. Sunday after a caller reported a person had been shot.

When police arrived they found the victim, a 37-year-old man, suffering from several gunshot wounds in the rear parking lot of the business.

He was rushed to an area hospital, but later pronounced dead, police said.

The victim identity has not been released at this time.
