School bus involved in Mansfield crash

The identity of a man killed in a weekend Rocky Hill crash has been released.

Police said 37-year-old Matthew J. Lanza, of Cromwell, died after being involved in a three-vehicle crash on Cromwell Avenue.

The crash happened right on the town line just before 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Police said it involved two motorcycles and a car.

Everyone involved was hurt.

The drivers were transported to area hospitals.

Lanza died as a result of his injuries at Hartford Hospital. A second victim, 50-year-old Ronald A. McNeill Jr., was in serious condition. He's since been upgraded to stable. The driver of the car, 59-year-old Pamela R. Hebb, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Both McNeill and Hebb remain in the hospital as of Tuesday morning.

Police said the two motorcycles were traveling south and the car was headed north when they collided in the northbound lane.

The cause remains under investigation.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Rocky Hill Police Department at 860-258-7640.
