The karting world is going crazy over a massive new go-kart track being built in Montville.

It’s the nation’s first Naskart track, and the whole facility is 80,000 square feet.

There are 16 electric-powered go-karts that can race on each track at the same time, all under one roof, in the state-of-the-art European designed race track.

"Social media is running wild. We are thrilled, we're proud...we couldn't be happier,” said Rachel Hannas, Metz marketing director.

She says it is fun for the whole family, while the children are competing on the track, parents can relax in the restaurant or lounge.

"We will have pit speed, junior speed and racing speed as well as adult speeds,” Hannas said.

There is also a full trampoline park that is located on the second floor.

"Our track attendants who help keep everybody very safe. On schedule for the go-kart track. We've got trampoline court supervisors,” said General Manager Cody Browning.

This is Naskart's first facility in the country and the largest in the world.

More are already being planned by developers.
