GLASTONBURY, CT (WFSB) - The eight day festival of Passover is celebrated in early spring.

Passover begins Friday evening.

Passover commemorates the liberation of the Jewish people from slavery in ancient Egypt.

The Chabad Jewish Center in Glastonbury, like many Jewish centers in the state, will hold a Passover Seder.

The Seder begins at 7 p.m.

More information can be found on the Chabad Jewish Center's website here.
