PLAINVILLE, CT (WFSB) -- A Plainville man is facing charges after police said he was driving the wrong way on I-84 just after midnight Monday.

Police said 32-year-old Daniel Vice was spotted traveling eastbound on I-84 westbound near exit 33.

State troopers were able to catch up to him near exit 39.

Vice failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.

He was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence, wrong way driving, and first-degree reckless endangerment.

He’s expected to appear in court later this month.
