Police have identified the two men killed in a double shooting in New Haven on Tuesday night.

According to police, 911 callers reported a shooting on Dewitt Street just after 10:40 p.m.

Arriving officers found two victims, who both had been shot multiple times in chest. Police said 24-year-old Dyshant Levi Mclean, of Hamden, died at the scene.

The second victim, identified as 36-year-old Tyree McCrea of New Haven, was rushed to Yale-New Haven Hospital where he died an hour later.
