Connecticut State Police said Sprague was involved in another domestic dispute in Sharon Monday.
Troopers there also have an arrest warrant for him for assault charges.
A joint investigation between New York and Connecticut state police led to the finding of Sprague in the town of Amenia, NY.
He was arraigned in Northeast, NY and held in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
He's scheduled to face a judge in that town on Friday.
