Sharon man wanted by police located in New York

Connecticut State Police said a man from Sharon who was wanted was located in New York on Wednesday.

Troopers said they tried to serve an arrest warrant to the man on West Meadow Road in Sharon around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

They said the warrant was in connection to some kind of incident that happened the night before.

However, the man, identified as Raymond Sprague, fled into his home and refused to surrender to state police on Tuesday night.

On Wednesday afternoon, state police said the suspect was not located inside. They are trying to figure out where he went.

Police said on Wednesday evening he was located in New York and was taken into custody.
