Shooting investigation underway in Enfield

Enfield police are investigating a shooting incident that happened early Monday morning.

According to police, officers were called to Green Valley Drive around 2:40 a.m. after a victim reported being shot with a BB gun or a pellet gun.

Officers saw the wounds and the victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said one person is in custody and there is no danger to the public.

They expect to release more details later Monday morning.
