The Elm City's newest school will soon be online.
The Holberton School, a software engineering school at The District, was christened with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m.
Officials called The District a successful brownfields reclamation project on James Street in New Haven.
Holberton hopes to educate students with the ability to write code and program computers as demand in the digital age grows.
Gov. Dannel Malloy, New Haven Mayor Toni Harp and other officials were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
