Police executing a warrant at a home in East Windsor arrested a man after they found drugs, guns and explosives.

Mark Edward Betancourt, 45, of Broad Brook, faces a list of charges.

State police said they, along with members of the East Windsor Police Department and other law enforcement agencies, executed the warrant on Wesley Street Thursday.

The home is located near the East Windsor Middle School.

A search of the home revealed an indoor grow operation that included 193 marijuana plants, 1,153 grams of process marijuana, a number of marijuana seeds, growing equipment, scales and packaging materials.

Detectives said they also seized a number of firearms, including an uzi, an AK-47 with a loaded magazine, an AR-15, several high capacity magazines, a bump stock and a silencer.

Explosives and fireworks were removed from within an attached garage, troopers said.

Betancourt was charged with various drugs and weapons charges, along with risk of injury to a child and reckless endangerment.

He was held on a $250,000 bond and given a court date of Friday.
