HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -- A deadly crash closed part of Blue Hills Avenue in Hartford.

The two-vehicle crash was reported by police around 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

A 54-year-old woman was killed in the crash, police said.

Police identified the victim as Karen Small-Rodgers of Hartford. 

Police say Small-Rodgers was a passenger in the two-car crash. She was taken to Saint Francis Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. 

The operators of both vehicles were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police said. 

Blue Hills Avenue was closed for several hours into the night, between Thomaston and Colebrook streets.
