Nearly 400,000 people visit stadium for Hartford Yard Goats

Work has resumed at Dunkin Donuts Park in Hartford.

Crews were spotted at the stadium on Wednesday laying fresh soil.

Arch Insurance hired Whiting Turner to finish the job.

After initial excitement about Hartford getting a baseball team, the ballpark has been a struggle from the start.

Construction issues and cost overruns caused one delay after another, and the 2016 season never happened.

The cost of the stadium is now $20 million more than projected.

The Yard Goats first game is scheduled to be played April 13, 2017.
