Human remains found along Connecticut River in Rocky Hill have been identified, officials say

ROCKY HILL, Conn. (WFSB) - A body was found along the Connecticut River in Rocky Hill on Sunday morning.

At around 8:53 a.m. officers were deployed to Ferry Park after a report from a boater in the area about a body in the water, police said.

When crews arrived, they found the body in the water.

Officials now said the human remains that were found have been identified as 72-year-old Mary Colasanto who was reported missing back in March.

This case remains under investigation at this time.
