Police said they relentlessly searched alongside members of the Danbury Fire Department for the woman.

She was found in the porta potty on Miry Brook Road on Wednesday just before noon. Though not hurt, they said she suffered from exposure to the weather.

“It appears she had spent the night and was lying on the floor of the portajohn when police officers found her,” said Det. Capt. Mark Williams, Danbury police. “With subzero temperatures during the overnight, we are pleased that she is still with us.”
