Police rescued injured and scared owl in Granby

GRANBY, CT (WFSB) - Officers rescued an injured owl who had a close encounter with a car on Saturday.

Police said the owl was almost hit and was left stunned and unable to fly.

Officers Abalan and Deloy rescued the owl and scooped it up to ensure it remained calm and safe.

According to police, the owl was back in the skies in no time.

A big hoot of appreciation to these officers!
