Scottie Scheffler to defend Traveler’s Championship win

CROMWELL, CT (WFSB) - The world’s top golfer is returning to the Travelers Championship to defend his crown.
The annual golf tournament announced Scottie Scheffler’s return on Tuesday.
Scheffler defeated Tom Kim during last year’s run. At the time, it marked his 6th win of the season.
This year, he’s once again the top-ranked golfer in the world, according to the world rankings.
The Travelers Championship is scheduled for June 16-22, 2025 at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell.
