Man accused of bringing several children to Target to steal merchandise

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT (WFSB) - A man was arrested on accusations that he brought several juveniles to a retail store in South Windsor to steal from it.

Joshua Middleton, 44, of Springfield, MA, was charged with risk of injury to a minor.

Middleton was arrested on Sept. 4 for the April 2024 incident.

Police said they determined that Middleton was responsible for transporting several youths to the Target on Buckland Hills Drive to steal merchandise.

Middleton left before police arrived, but an arrest warrant was sought.

Police said he turned himself in to them.

He was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.

Middleton was scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Sept. 24.
