UConn football looking to become bowl eligible for second straight season

STORRS, CT. (WFSB) - The UConn football team is at the midseason point with a 4-2 record and coming off a massive win versus Florida International.

It seems like the perfect time to give an evaluation of the team so far and where they are in terms of expectations and limitations.

However, head coach Jim Mora is brushing it all off to the side.

He seldom strays away from what works for him, and it has worked so far this season.

If the Huskies can rattle off two more wins, they will become bowl eligible for the second straight season. They’ll be looking for their fifth victory Saturday when they travel to take on Boston College.
