UConn football heads to Rice this weekend

HOUSTON, TX (WFSB) - UConn football heads to Houston for a matchup against Rice University.
The Huskies take on the Owls at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
It’ll mark the third overall matchup between the two teams. UConn won the previous two, 17-10 in Oct. 2024 and 38-31 in 2023.
UConn has been riding a 4-game winning streak, including a 38-23 victory over Boston College last week. It’s the longest streak under coach Jim Mora.
A win over Rice would make the Huskies bowl eligible.
