No. 11 UConn men’s hockey prepares for home-and-home series against No. 15 Providence

STORRS, CT (WFSB) - No. 11 UConn’s men’s hockey hits the ice against No. 15 Providence on Friday.
It’s the first of a home-and-home series against the Friars.
The 4-3-1 Huskies are coming off a 1-0-1 weekend, with a 1-1 tie against Harvard and a 5-1 win over Merrimack.
Last season, the Huskies and Friars played three times. They skated to a tie in game one, the Friars took game 2, and the Huskies won game 3 in the HEA quarterfinals.
The teams face off for the first time this season at 7 p.m. Friday at the Toscano Family Ice Forum in Storrs.
They’ll wrap up the home-and-home on Saturday in Providence at 7 p.m.
Both games will stream on ESPN+.
