Cam Edwards transfers from UConn to Michigan State

STORRS, CT (WFSB) - One of UConn’s star running backs has committed to Michigan State.

Cam Edwards confirmed his transfer on Instagram.

Edwards became the first running back since 2019 to eclipse 1,000 rushing yards in a single season, according to UConn.

As a junior, he rushed a total of 1,132 yards on 199 attempts.

Edwards has been with the Huskies since his freshman year in 2022.
