Dan Booth Hits the Road: Following UConn to the NCAA Tournament in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WFSB) - WFSB Eyewitness News sports anchor Dan Booth packed his bags and arrived in Philadelphia ahead of the UConn men’s basketball team’s NCAA Tournament First Round matchup.

The Huskies, who finished the regular season at 29-5, earned a No. 2 seed in the East Region and will face No. 15 seed Furman at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Friday at approximately 10 p.m. on TBS.

Dan will be live throughout the week with reports streaming on WFSB+ and during newscasts on Eyewitness News on Channel 3 and The WAX. He’ll have the sights, the sounds, and the storylines as UConn Nation descends on the City of Brotherly Love.

The stakes couldn’t be higher. If the Huskies advance through Philadelphia, the road leads to the East Regional in Washington DC, and potentially the Final Four in Indianapolis on April 4. UConn has made six straight NCAA Tournaments, and this group has the talent and the drive to make another deep run.
