ADoptable Pet: Meet Rocky

HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - Rocky is an eight-year-old domestic longhair looking for a peaceful, loving home. He was brought to CHS in April when his previous family was facing some health issues, and they wanted him to have a beautiful new life.

He will thrive in a home with cat-savvy adults who have experience with shy cats. While he has not had much experience sharing his home with another feline, he would enjoy spending time with another calm kitty. Rocky would prefer to live in a dog-free home.

Rocky loves lounging in a quiet and cozy corner where he can peacefully watch the world go by. He will need plenty of love and patience as he adjusts to his surroundings in a new home. Once he warms up to you, he becomes your most loyal and loving companion. He is a very food-motivated cat that enjoys plenty of affection and treats. His true purr-sonality comes out at night, and he enjoys playing with wand toys and laser pointers.
