Celebrities join pros for Travelers charity challenge

CROMWELL, Conn. (WFSB) - A few celebrities arrived early at TPC River Highlands for a charity challenge ahead of the Travelers Championship.

The event paired celebrities with professional golfers for a chipping competition that lasted 15 and a half minutes.

Former Patriots wide receiver and Super Bowl champion Julian Edelman teamed up with Keegan Bradley. The pair competed by trying to land as many golf balls as possible on a giant floating umbrella.

Edelman and Bradley stayed in the chase throughout the round and gave the competition a run.

The event was also a chance for the two to talk about their respect for each other and their shared New England ties.

Edelman is pulling for Bradley to defend his Travelers Championship title.
