Crews battle late night house fire in Enfield

ENFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - Firefighters are battling a structure fire on Maple Avenue in Enfield on Sunday evening.

There are several crews involved, including Bradley International Airport firefighters, according to a Connecticut state firefighters union.

Channel 3’s crew saw heavy flames coming from the home.

Officials have not released any information on injuries, displacements, or a cause.

This fire happened on the last night of Enfield’s Fourth of July celebrations, resulting in extra crowds and road closures in the area.
