UConn men’s basketball prepares for season

STORRS, Conn. (WFSB) - The UConn men’s basketball team will face Syracuse in an exhibition game on Oct. 13 at Mohegan Arena, the program’s first action against another team this season.

The Huskies have spent the summer working on player development and team chemistry, integrating returners with a group of transfers and incoming freshmen. Returners include Braylon Mullins, Silas Demary Jr. and Jayden Ross.

Looking ahead to the season, head coach Dan Hurley said, “Every day in here is a fight right now for roles...we’re really trying to just study the team and figure out, again, how do we need to play this year.”

UConn is aiming to reach the Final Four for the fourth time in the last five years.
